Point of Sale Card Payment Devices
We are looking for Sales Supervisors who are detail-oriented, thorough, and organized to join our salesforce team. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and growing our footprint of point-of-sale card payment device merchants in the SMME market. These positions are in the Payments (Master/Visa card acceptance device) and airtime/electricity environment that requires good people skills and being tech savvy. Basic salary plus commission.
As a Sales Supervisor you will supervise and coordinate the schedules of your Sales Consultant team to empower them to meet and exceed their sales targets.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Meet all own sales quotas and goals.
• Do the following for yourself and mentor your Consultants to upskill them:
o Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support them.
o Prospect for potential leads from networks, directories, web, and digital resources.
o Become fluent in demonstrating the devices and related software.
o Sourcing sales opportunities through cold calls and door-to-door field calls.
o Clearly explain the advantages and benefits of the device and software solutions.
o Process your daily workflow / calls /support / orders / quotes on CRM platform.
o Process orders/quotes via email, phone, face to face.
o Do the picking-up and delivering of devices to merchants.
o Ensure that Merchants are properly onboarded.
o Assist merchants with additional software on the devices as appropriate.
o Train merchants to use the device to take payments and sell VAS.
o Regularly follow up on merchants to ensure traction and usage of the POS devices.
o Ensure client satisfaction, and promptly escalate critical problems to management.
o Communicate important feedback from Merchants internally.
• Escalate key market feedback.
• Organize and coordinate sales consultants’ schedules.
• Analyse your Consultants workflow reports on the CRM platform.
• Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
• Assist sales consultant team to meet and exceed goals.
• Answer escalated merchant support questions and follow-up.
• Control the stock availability, delivery and replacement process.

KEY ATTRIBUTES and requirements:
• Grade 12 and/or higher level of education.
• Two years’ previous experience in sales, mentorship, and customer support.
• A proven sales track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Persuasive and goal oriented.
• In-depth understanding of point-of-sale services in the market.
• Excellent presentation / negotiating skills.
• Computer, android and web skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, updating customer profiles, and enterin
