The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about working with 3rd party logistic service providers for import and dispatch supply chain, have working knowledge about inventory management, and able to manage an internal team to influence outcomes and organise people.  An interest in and understanding of the payment industry will be a major benefit to understand distributors hardware and software needs.

The position requires engaging with management and corporate clients to create and manage delivery expectations. The norm is working regular office hours but getting results always takes top priority.

Commencement Date: 1st July 2022
Cost-to-company Salary: R30,000 for three months’ probation, R34,000 thereafter
Leave: 15 workdays per annum (1.25 workdays per month)


Responsibility Span:

  • Planning, forecasting, and managing in- and outbound logistics and stock control
  • Device preparation (hard & software) and repair and warrantee customer services
  • Software Technical (Genesis and L1&L4 support)
  • Preparing, directing, optimizing, and coordinating the full order cycle
  • Liaising with internal departments and with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Reporting on Stock levels, statuses and timely mitigation of risks and escalation of issues
  • Management of Technical Device Setup & Support team
  • Recruit and train new employees


  • Proven working experience in supply chain, distribution, and logistics for more than 5 years
  • Demonstrable ability to negotiate and achieve deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

  • Experience in supervising and managing teams



The goal is to manage the full order cycle to minimize costs while still achieving delivery objectives and customer satisfaction:

  • Manage full manufacturing specifications from Client & Sales Operations, Graphics Design, Device Operations to Manufacturing partner.
  • Monitor manufacturing status and manage Client expectations.
  • Manage Clearing and forwarding (C&F) Agents and customs, providing full South African Reserve Bank (SARB) tracking reports.
  • Document & Manage warehousing & stock, including all device receipts (new & returns), store and track despatch stock by Status in Genesis (AddPay ERP),
  • Obtain dispatch orders: Record activation, QA and Dispatch in Genesis.
  • Manage the dispatching courier logistics with tracking reports in Genesis.
  • Track L4 Stock, evaluation of L4 Device Receipts, Process Warrantee Claims, Warehouse and repair by Status, QA Check, Store or Dispose in Genesis.
  • Manage SIM allocations, and data usage, back-office engagement with SIM providers
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Provide input to the ERP team and system to optimize metrics to assess performance and reporting.
  • Comply with laws, customs regulations, and PCI requirements.
  • Manages Technical Device Support team including Receipts, Warehousing, Activation & Dispatch as well as Device Assessment & Repairs.
  • Detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
