What is the main advantage of AddPay Collections?

Gain full control by managing all your collections and communications in one live console. You are able to offer the most appropriate payment method (Debit Orders, Recurring Card and Auto EFT) with easy to use online signups. Customer convenience from selecting their preferred payment method as they checkout from their online signup.

What is an Auto EFT?
Auto EFT is a new payment method offered by RebelPay for all Customers with access to internet banking. When signing up Customers can choose to pay with an Auto EFT. Customers do a one-time registration, and then benefit from having their payments created automatically in their internet banking profile. No errors with loading beneficiaries or references, and funds are confirmed immediately to the Merchant.
How does Recurring Card work?
For Customers who choose to pay with Recurring Card when signing up, their first payment will be authenticated with a 3dSecure or Verified by Visa transaction. The card details are tokenised to run subsequent recurring transactions, no further action required from the Customer.
How do Debit Orders work?
Customers who checkout and choose to pay by Debit Order get an online mandate to fill out. The mandate is confirmed by two factor authentication and is sent for Account Verification. Active contracts will automatically run on the set date.
How do I decide which payment methods to install?
It’s a combination of transactional costs balanced against the cost of failed collections. Our sales consultants will gladly discuss the pros and cons of each payment method with you.
Is migration from Silver to Platinum possible?
Yes migration is as easy as installing the additional payment methods in your AddPay Console.
Is integration with AddPay Collections possible?

Yes we have an easy to use Widget that handles the checkout. Please see our API documentation on this, or speak to our sales consultants who will guide you in this.

Who would be interested in integration directly with the AddPay API?
If you would like to process once-off and recurring payments in South Africa using Card, Debit Order and Auto EFT then you will benefit from doing one integration with AddPay’s API.
Is there iFrame or Widget based card collection possible?
Yes we do have a customisable AddPay hosted page, or you may host your own page and post through the API.
Does the tokenisation process handle card verification, and is there a charge for this?
Yes tokenisation is done upon completed card verification. There is no additional charge for this as all subsequent recurring transactions use the tokenised information.
Can one get Customer and transactional information, is read possible via API
It’s a REST API, it will pass the full payload back with webhooks.
Is Refund possible via API and the service console?
Yes in the case of Card and Debit Order. AutoEFT by RebelPay is a debit-push via the Customers Internet Banking, it cannot be reversed.
What is the relationship between merchant accounts?
You are in control of creating the Customer, Contract, Transactions, payment method and the Customer References used, therefore its your choice how to structure. However, we encourage all larger Merchants to have their own Merchant Account for Card and Collection Account for Auto EFT and Debit Orders.
AddPay is an Aggregator, and therefore while your turnover is below ZAR 170,000 per month you may operate under the AddPay’s Merchant account. In the event your turnover exceeds this level we will apply for your own Merchant account.
Are there API libraries available for different languages?
We have PHP and JavaScript libraries.
Are transaction fees handled by default between us and merchants, or our application should handle it?
This depends on how you structure. If you act on behalf of your Customers then we will charge you.
Are payment notifications and/or emails available?
Yes there is a basic configurable SMS Communication Module, provides for SMS notifications to the Client and the end User upon successful payment.
What testing capabilities are available?
You will be provided with both a test account and a live account upon signup.

What platforms do you create apps for?

We currently have WooCommerce for WordPress App and we have the flexibility to create more applications as requested

Can I find the WooCommerce app in the plugin directory?
Yes, and it installs just like any other app.
Will the AddPay for WooCommerce app be in the list at checkout?
Yes, once you have inserted you AppID and App secret you are good to go the app will be integrated completely
